Dear Virgin Island Sailing School,
The week of sailing school with Captain Scott was perfect – a great balance between practical learning, test preparation, sailing, and relaxation. We wanted to learn to sail, but after all , this was also a vacation. Not all sailing schools can find that balance, but Captain Scott surely did. This was my second week on the water, both with a practical sailing focus – combined with the earned ASA certifications, I feel confident to lease and captain a catamaran. We had students of varying experience, sailing education, and capabilities on our boat and Captain Scott was able to provide the right level of education and challenge to each student. As I look to continue my sailing education, I will definitely look to Captain Scott for more advanced courses and the value of his knowledge and experience.

The week long class was just what I was hoping for – incredibly informative and great fun. I can’t wait to take my next class. Captain Scott’s knowledge and approach to sailing made it easy for this newbie to learn. Professional and well-planned from the get go, I received all my course materials and helpful guidance on what gear to bring well in advance. There was a great daily balance of coursework, hands-on instruction, and down time for relaxing and snorkeling. The group discussions and the opportunity to take as much or as little time as needed on-the-water to work through the skills really helped me get a firm grasp of proper technique.
Captain Scott is an exceptional instructor. His energetic ways and clear directions made for a stress free week. One of the best vacations ever – I couldn’t ask for anything more.

Thank you for an absolutely wonderful vacation with you. We enjoyed very much all of our island hopping, snorkeling, paddle boarding, swimming, and fishing. Of course, the happy hours with the two of you were some favorite times. Your hospitality was the very best, the gourmet meals couldn’t have been better. The best restaurant on our vacation!! (seriously) The schedule of stops, activities and meals were perfect each day! You are a wonderful couple that we would love to entertain at our home.
